HANDWOVEN MULTICOLOUR WOOL BLANKET

Material: 100% sheep wool, purchased from local wool suppliers. Hand dyed with natural dyes. No chemicals were used in the production.

This colourful polka dot wool blanket is made by a women's cooperative in Guatemala. Yabal Guatemala is a Fair Trade Enterprise that focuses on sustainable design supporting indigenous women’s weaving. This provides the women with the opportunity to sell their hand woven products through local and international markets. 

After the blanket is woven, it is boiled and air dried. It then undergoes a process of brushing to create a lovely soft texture.
